A SUCCESSFUL DAY ON BEN NEVIS SINCE 2018...LETS DO IT AGAIN !!! NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS FOR 2023 ON THE TOP OF BEN NEVIS !!!
Under winter conditions, Ben Nevis is so different than in Summer, so, to celebrate the New Year, we are running a guided winter walk on Ben Nevis on 1st January 2023 !
Ascending the Pony Track from The Ben Nevis Inn, the ground will be familiar to those of you that have been up there before, Once on the Zig Zags , it will change...Often the path is buried, and full winter conditions abound. There will be some simple instruction in the use of ice axe and crampons, adding to the exciting experience.
You will be looked after by us during this event, with an option for you to stop at the Inn at the end of the day.
Open to all Walkers of varied ability. Expect it to be cold up there, with full winter clothing essential. Crampons are likely to be necessary, Some stock of hire axes and crampons available. Pre book only.
We will meet at 8am at the Ben Nevis Inn and Bunkhouse. Expect 5 hours up, and 4 hours down. A reliable headtorch is essential as it will be dark around 3.30pm.

We are running a Winter Skills Course on the 3rd to 4th January which can be tagged onto this trip.

This course will give you a greater knowledge of the winter mountains, covering lots on movement and the environment around you. It is fun to learn, or you can just come for the experience...
